We provide non-invasive leak detection services (including thermal imaging, acoustic profiling, tracer gas, etc), trace-and-access surveys, and repair advice for homeowners in London and surrounding areas.

3. Use of the Website
3.1. You may use the Website for your personal, non-commercial use only.

4. Service Information & Estimates
4.1. All descriptions of our services, free estimates and pricing information are subject to change without notice.
4.2. Any free estimate or quote provided by us is non-binding until confirmed in writing (or email) by us.
4.3. Your acceptance of an estimate or quote triggers a service agreement (whether verbal or written) under which we will carry out the leak detection/repair services in accordance with our standard terms (which will be provided separately).
4.4. While we aim to locate leaks non-invasive, some services may require trace access, repairs or disruption to surfaces (walls, floors). In such instances we will inform you beforehand, but you accept that invasive access may sometimes be required.

4.5 We are not liable for faults, breakdowns, pressure loss, component failure, or performance issues relating to combination boilers, heating systems, under floor systems, hot water cylinders, pumps, valves or associated pipework that occur during or after leak detection procedures, leak detection investigations may involve system isolation, pressure testing, or introduction of tracer gas into pipework. These procedures can place temporary stress on ageing,worn, corroded, poorly maintained, or previously repaired systems. Water leak detection London accepts no responsibility for preexisting weaknesses or latent defects that become apparent during or following testing

4.6 it remains the property owners responsibility to ensure That - The boiler and heating system are properly Maintained and serviced- The System is safe and suitable condition prior to investigation- a gas safe registered engineer is consulted for any boiler- related faults or repairs. - water leak detection London does not carry out boiler repairs, serving, or certification unless separately agreed in writing

5. Insurance Claims & Reports
5.1. If you engage us in relation to a home insurance claim, we will provide a written report showing the leak location, method used and recommended next steps. This is for submission to your insurer.
5.2. You are responsible for ensuring you have the correct policy cover (e.g., trace and access cover) and for liaising with your insurer. While we assist, we cannot guarantee your insurer’s acceptance.
5.3. You must provide accurate information to us and to your insurer, and you accept that we are not responsible for any decision made by your insurer.

5.4 Where a customer intends to claim the cost of services through their insurance provider, the customer remains full responsible for payment of the invoice on the day of completion. Water leak detection London is not responsible for delays or non-payment by insurance companies.

6. Payment
6.1. Payment for all leak detection services is due in full on the day of service
6.2. Accepted Payment Methods - Water leak Detection London accepts payment by; Debit or credit card, Bank transfer , Payment details will be provide on the invoice.
6.3. If you cancel any service appointment without reasonable notice (as defined in our quote), we may charge a cancellation fee.

6.4 Deposits For certain bookings, a deposit may be required to secure an appointment. Deposits are Non- refundable if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the scheduled visit.

6.5 Leak detection reports and documentation remain the property of Aqua Trace Leak Detection until full payment has been received

7.No Access & Aborted Visit Policy

7.1 Access Requirement- The customer must ensure clear and safe access to all relevant areas of the property at the agreed appointment time. This includes access to stop taps, boilers, meters, pipework, loft spaces, and other areas reasonably required to carry out leak detection services

7.2 If water Leak Detection attends the agreed time and is unable to gain access, or if the required access is restricted or unsafe, a Call- out Charge of £200 will apply to cover time, travel, and loss of Earnings

7.3 Aborted Visit- if work has commenced but cannot be completed due to : Unsafe working conditions - Undisclosed system alterations or damage- Lack of access to Necessary areas- interference by third parties - Utilities being disconnected - Customer- requested cancellation on arrival.

Water Leak detection London reserves the right to charge for time spent on site, equipment use, and travel costs. The Minimum charge in such cases will be £200, or the full agreed service fee if specialist testing has already begun

7.4 Customer Responsibility it is the customers responsibility to; Ensure all relevant services (water, gas, electricity) are operational - inform us in advance of known systems faults or previous repair attempts - Ensure pets are secured and working areas are clear - Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

7.5 Repair Authorization - in most cases water leak detection London, detection uses non destructive methods to locate leaks. However where physical expose of pipework is required to confirm or repair a leak, this will be clearly explained to the customer before any destructive access is undertaken. No walls,floors, ceiling, tiles, or other structures will be opened without the customers prior verbal and/ or written consent.

A quotation for access and/or repair work will be provided where reasonably possible before proceeding. The customer acknowledges that once permission is granted, water leak detection is not responsible for reinstatement, cosmetic repairs, replacement tiles, flooring finishes decorations, or pre- existing structural weaknesses unless specifically agreed in writing. any making- good or reinstatement work is not included unless separately Quoted

8. Liability & Warranty
8.1. We warrant that we will perform our services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with good industry practices.
8.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any event or series of connected events shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us under the relevant service agreement.
8.3. We shall not be liable for:

indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits, business opportunities, increased water bills beyond detection time);

damage caused by you failing to follow our instructions or to provide access;

deterioration of hidden structures or consequential repairs beyond leak detection.
8.4. Nothing in this clause limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability which cannot legally be limited or excluded under UK law.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All content on the Website (text, images, logos, videos) is our property (or used with permission) and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
